I did quite a lot of research on Seminyak villas and this gives the best rate for a 3-bedroom villa. Adenova was very prompt in her reply to my email enquiries. The location is in the residential area which is where we wanted, to experience living in their residential area rather than in the city. We spent 5 days/4 nights. Everything is very clean and modern looking, yet there is a touch of Balinese feel. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Tony, the villa caretaker looks after the villa perfectly. Catur, the villa manager is fantastic in every way. Driving us around (even to Ubud, which is a 1.5hr drive), picking us up, explaining on Bali cultures, giving advices, helping to arrange for pick up for our activities and showing the different places of interest etc. 

On Christmas eve, he drove back to Kuta to pick us up when we called him (despite the night jam), even though we told him earlier were going back on our own and he has already returned to the villa. Plus its Christmas Eve, he was actually worried we wont be able to get any cab. He then drove us to buy our booze and snack at our favorite Carrefour which is quite near the villa. 

Being Singaporeans, we are not allowed to set fireworks in our country. We told him we wanted to buy the big explosive kind. He then drove us around and checked out each stall for us. We ended up buying from a street seller with Catur getting a good bargain. Back to the villa, Catur and Tony tried to figure out how to play the fireworks. Tony was afraid to light up the fireworks yet he wanted to help us. 

The feeling was memorable! Catur being the hero, light up the first firework. Seeing it shoot up into the sky, we were enthralled and surprised by the loud blast. We couldnt stop laughing because it was so much fun! We saved the best for the last and ended our last night at Kuta beach with Catur, setting all the fireworks into the sky. 

People along the beach stood to watch with us, sharing the same warm fuzzy feeling. :)

Quiet luxury

Villa Cantik Tresna is an absolute credit to luxury accommodation. The space is magnificently divided and utilized to create a private and tantalizing layout of Balinese and contemporary architecture. The rooms and en suites are something un-paralleled anywhere I've stayed in Bali, if not the world. 
It is absolute value for money and could easily be charged at 3 or 4 times the price. 
The service is exquisite, making the stay seamless and wholly relaxing. Although not in the most touristic area of Seminyak, you truly feel as if you are in Bali when you travel to and from your villa, and by no means is it an inconvenience to travel to and from. 
I would recommend this villa to anyone coming to Bali who wants to have a beautifully unique place to come home to.
